Christopher Hyde
Chris Hyde is the Captain of the Asprey Polo Team and is affectionately knows as ‘The Prof.’ Playing off six goals, Chris is renowned for his big hitting and penalty taking. He is one of only a few players to have reached a nine-goal handicap in arena polo.
Chris is a great tactician on the polo field, which has earned him a place as a member of the England Squad. His achievements to date include wining the Arena Gold Cup on five occasions, captaining a team to win the 26 Goal Argentine Club Cup, winning The St Moritz Cartier World Cup Polo on Snow twice, winning the Barbados Open twice and famously whilst playing with Talacrest, captained his team to win almost all of the 8 & 12 goal polo for two consecutive years.
